House Plan 1983 - 55 is one of our best sellers incorporating the elegance of french country stylings with an ingenious use of space. From the elegant front porch entrance one enters the foyer whose view through another arch is to the living room which has three large windows facing the back yard. An open plan arrangement, the living room, kitchen, and dining room share views of one another yet maintain there own well defined space. Traffic flows next to these spaces and not through them which allows the most flexibilty for furniture arrangement.

The rear porch is directly accessed between the living room and dining room making it feel a part of living space of the house plan. Open on two sides the rear porch will have plenty of open air and light opportunities. Towards the master suite you find a home office located near the active parts of the house so it can serve as the family computer room as well. The master bedroom is toward the rear of the house away from street traffic and isolated from the rest of the house creating a nice place for rest. Whirlpool bath, shower, double bowl vanity, linen cabinet, and private toilet room make this a very comfortable owner's bathroom. Notice the size of the master closet.

Storage is never overlooked in our house plans. This house plan has a large walk-in pantry, a walk-in closet in hall 2, a walk-in closet in bedroom 3, a coat closet in hall 1, and plenty of open and closed storage in the garage. The front bedrooms have their own wing giving them separation from the public spaces of the home. Entering from the garage there is a drop area which can always have many uses. It could be as simple as a base and wall cabinet, a bench with a hinged lid, cubbies, and even left empty for a piece of furniture you may have.
