Number of Plan Sets Needed
Here is a list to help you determine how many Construction Drawing sets you will need:
- mortgage lender
- building permit department (verify how many are required with your building codes department)
- sub-contractors (foundation, electrical, framing, plumbing, cabinetry, etc.)
- subdivision architectural review board (if applicable)
You may need more sets if you plan to get a bid from more than one contractor.
Purchasing Additional Plan Sets
Please note that if you need more plan sets once you have placed your order, you can purchase additional sets up to six (6) months after your original purchase date. Contact us
for additional prints.
Ordering Process & Payment Options
You may place an order for house plans using our online form or by phone. Payment options include major credit cards as well as check or money order (orders placed by phone). If you wish to order by phone, you will be required to mail us a check or money order. Your order will be processed after your check has cleared.

You can purchase your house plans at mcdhouseplans.com with confidence. We have partnered with Authorize.Net a leading payment gateway since 1996, to accept credit card payments safely and securely for our customers.
The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the credit card processing networks. The company adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing. So you can rest assured that we use a secure web site so that your credit card and personal information will be secure when ordering a house plan. In addition, your information will not be sold or used for any other purpose.
Orders for PDFs and CAD files are typically processed and emailed to you within one business day. Orders for printed sets are typically processed and shipped within 2 business days. Printed sets are shipped 2nd business day delivery through UPS or FedEx. The cost for shipping is always included in our prices. Upon submitting your order, you will receive a confirmation email that your order has been recieved. When your order is shipped you will recieve another email stating that your order has been shipped. In the email there will be a tracking number for you to monitor the shipping progress.
PDFs & CAD Files
PDF and CAD (.dwg files) file formats of Study Sets, Design Sets, and Construction Drawings will be sent to you via email unless you state in the comments field during checkout that you would prefer them on a CD. The CAD format that you will recieve will be a 2007.dwg file. If you need the CAD file saved back to another format please indicate which one you need in the comments field during checkout.
Returns of Study Sets, Design Sets, Estimate Sets, and Construction Drawings Sets are not allowed regardless if they are printed copies, PDFs, or CAD files. All sales are final and no credit or refund is available.
